Clamping plates

Clamping plates are a safe and cost-effective method of mounting timing belts and are included in all linear drives and systems. Clamping plates ensure fixation and fastening of the timing belt and guarantee full utilization of the tensile strength.

In order to guarantee a uniform std across the entire belt surface, it is important to use a clamping plate in the correct belt profile. Clamping plates are available in T5, T10, AT5 , AT10, HTD in 3M, 5M, 8M and 14M as well as in XL, L and H profiles. We also sell clamping plates in Eagle profile with arrow teeth. For standard applications, clamping plates with 7 teeth are sufficient, whereas in special high-force applications, clamping plates with at least 12 teeth should be used. Clamping plates are available in both metric and inch pitch, of which T, AT and HTD profiles are with metric pitch and XL, L and H profiles are with inch pitch. We offer clamping plates that fit timing belts in all widths, so you are sure of a durable solution for your timing belt system. Clamping plates can be manufactured in other sizes and materials such as aluminum, steel, plastic and stainless steel on request.
