Poly-V belts

A poly-V belt, also called a Multi-rib V belts, is a fully cast friction and power transmission belt with longitudinal ribs that combines the flexibility of the flat belt with the high power transmission capacity of the V-belt. Poly-V belts ensure up to 98% power transmission and withstand temperature conditions from -35 °C to +130 °C as well as high speeds and extreme gear ratios of up to 1:40. The elasticity and bending capacity of the Poly-V belts make them at the same time very flexible and suitable for small roller diameters and pulleys. They are also very quiet, as the surface has been developed to absorb shocks and vibrations. Poly-V belts are used in a wide range of drive applications, including in electric tools, compressors, white goods and floor cleaners and is manufactured according to ISO 9982.

We supply a wide range of Poly-V belts in the profiles PJ, PK, PL, PM from stock, which can be shipped from our warehouse in Germany on a day-to-day basis. The belts are made of durable neoprene rubber or polyurethane ( PU ) and are reinforced with fiberglass. Poly-V belts are available in standard widths from 3-12 ribs, of which the price of the belt is determined by the number of ribs. Each profile has different belt pitches, which are an expression of the metric distance from the center of a rib to the center of a rib. A poly-V belt can also be equipped with a surface coating of your choice, e.g. a linatex, sylomeer, correx or celloflex coating. PL profiles can be produced in antistatic or oil/heat-resistant versions on request. Contact customer service for a non-binding offer, or if you need more information.
