Modular belt S.12

We offer a large selection of different modular conveyor belts, which are stocked with a belt pitch of 6, 12, 25, 50 or 75 mm which is an expression of the distance, from one plastic split to another plastic split. Modular conveyor belts are manufactured from a series of standard plastic modules that are constructed in a brick pattern, after which they are assembled and secured with a plastic split. Modular conveyor belts are easy to service and repair, as the modules can be assembled and disassembled, for example for cleaning or repair. The modular construction also means that all lengths and widths can be accommodated, and that the belt can be constructed from different modules, for example modules with/without coating, carrier, side edge, etc. - only the imagination sets the limits. 

Modular belt s.12 is a durable, flexible and efficient modular conveyor belt that comes in a myriad of combinations. This modular belt is used as a starting pu for light (rising and horizontal) transport as well as for small transfers, as the conveyor belt has a pitch of 12 mm. S.12 is ideal for handling smaller items, as the transition between each conveyor is minimal (14 mm nose bar). Each module has a standard width of 20 mm and can be manufactured in the materials polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polyoxymethylene (POM), each of which can withstand different temperature conditions. PE can withstand temperatures from -73°C to +66°C, PP can withstand temperatures from +5°C to +100°C and POM can withstand temperatures from -43°C to +95°C. Modular conveyor belts are used especially by the food industry, due to the modules' easy-to-clean and wear-resistant properties. The plastic materials from which the modules are made are gapproved for food transport according to FDA (Food & Drug Administration), FSIS (Food Standard Inspection Service) and EU Regulation No. 1935/2004).
