Radius Modular Belt

We offer a wide range of different modular conveyor belts, which are stocked with belt pitches of 6, 12, 25, 50 or 75 mm, which is an expression of the metric distance from plastic split to plastic split. Modular conveyor belts are manufactured from a number of standardized plastic modules that are constructed in a brick pattern, after which they are assembled with a plastic split. Compared to traditional conveyor belts, modular conveyor belts are easy to service and repair, as the modules can be assembled and disassembled in connection with, for example, cleaning. The modular construction also means that we can accommodate all lengths and widths, and construct the belt from different module types, such as modules with/without coating, carriers, side edges, etc. - only your imagination sets the limits. Unlike flat belts and V-belts that are driven by friction, modular belts are driven by timing belt pulleys that minimize belt tension and increase tensile strength. 

Radius belts are durable, flexible and efficient, and come in a myriad of different combinations. With a radius belt, great flexibility is achieved in the design of the system, as the belt allows constructions in J-curves and S-curves that allow you to avoid obstacles, optimize floor space and change the direction of your product line. Radius belts are used as a starting pu for curved and inclined transport, and are sold with a belt pitch of 25 or 50 mm. The modules are stocked in standard widths of 20 mm, 20.5 mm and 50 mm, and can be manufactured in the materials polypropylene (PP) and polyoxymethylene (POM), each of which can withstand different temperature conditions. PP can withstand temperatures from +5°C to +100°C and POM can withstand temperatures from -43°C to +95°C. Modular conveyor belts are used particularly by the food industry, due to the modules' easy-to-clean and wear-resistant properties. (These types of belts are approved for food transport according to FDA (Food & Drug Administration), FSIS (Food Standard Inspection Service) and EU Regulation No. 1935/2004).
