Poly-V belts

We sell a large selection of friction and power transmission belts, so-called Poly-V belts or ribbed belts, which combine the advantages of a flat belt and a V-belt. The series of PIX-X'ceed® belts in PL/L profile is characterized by a series of longitudinal ribs that ensure high tensile strength with up to 98% power transmission, as the v-belts center the belt in the pulley. Despite the belt's high power transmission capacity, poly-V belts in PL/L profile are very flexible, which makes them suitable for small pulleys, max. Ø180 mm. as well as in twisted and compact drives. PIX-X'ceed® belts are produced with a reinforcement of fiberglass and in durable neoprene rubber, with a thickness of 6.6 mm. which contributes to quiet operation, as the surface absorbs shocks and vibrations. The durable elastomer material withstands temperatures from -25°C to +100°C, while the material is oil and antistatic according to ISO 1813.

We sell a large selection of poly-V belts in PL/L profile with a pitch of 4.70 mm., which is an expression of the metric distance from rib to rib. The profile is sold in standard widths from 3 to 12 ribs and is stocked in standard lengths from 952 to 5080 mm.. The number of ribs affects the tensile force in the belt, which means that the more ribs the belt is manufactured with, the more power the belt will be able to transmit. The series of PL/L belts can be used in drives with high speeds of up to 50 m/sec. as well as in applications with extreme gear ratios of up to 1:40.
