T-Profil

T-profiles in PU

We offer a complete range of T-profiles in durable polyurethane ( PU ), for use in powered conveyors and for transporting light items and food. The series of T-profiles is manufactured with an integrated v-guide on the underside of the belt, which prevents it from running sideways and out of its groove. The series of T-profiles is sold in open meters and can be assembled and welded to a solid belt on request. When welding the belt together, we recommend that you make an end splice on non-reinforced profiles and an overlap splice on reinforced profiles. We offer various welding tools for welding T-profiles, try e.g. BEHAbelt 's EErgo paddle welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Multi TC welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Welding kit with storage bag.

The range of T-profiles is manufactured in different sizes, hardnesses and colours - and is stocked as standard in 65°A, 72°A, 76°A, 84°A, 88°A or 95°A shore, where the dimensions range from 9x4 millimeters to 25x5 millimeters. T-profiles are manufactured with different surfaces, including smooth, grooved, coated, rough or structured surface structures, each of which has been developed to solve different tasks in specific industries and applications. We have the ability to process stocked standard types so that they are targeted at more advanced and demanding environments. On request, we can, for example, manufacture T-profiles with food-approved (FDA/EC/USDA), hydrolysis or heat-resistant properties. T-profiles can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +80°C and are manufactured as standard with antistatic properties that make them rust-proof. The series of T-profiles are compatible with pulley diameters from Ø20 to Ø80.

At FEC Consulting we offer round belts for the food industry, packaging machines and conveyors. PU round belts and PU V-belts are often seen in industries with light product transport as most round belts have limited compressive strength due to the construction of the belt.

Today, higher and higher demands are placed on round belts used in the food industry. We offer a large selection of food approvals that cover virtually all types of cleaning, and we always make a point of meeting your expectations for good customer service, so when you shop with us, you come home with the right solution the first time.

1. pruning
To achieve the largest possible contact surface at the joint and the strongest splice, trim the ends of the belt in a straight cut (miter cut). For this, use BEHAbelt 's AS02 angle pliers or a sharp knife.

2. fixation
It is necessary to use clamps such as FZ01 Vario or FZ02/3 to fix the belt before welding it.

3. welding
For welding, e.g. BEHAbelt 's EErgo paddle welding tool , BEHAbelt 's Multi TC welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Welding kit, which melts the ends together via heat. When the material has cooled down, a joint will be formed. Expected cooling time is 5-10 minutes. Please note that a temperature of 290°C is required when welding PU profiles and 240°C when welding TPE profiles.

4. pruning
After the ends of the belt have been fused together and the material has cooled down, remove any bead at the splice by using BEHAbelt SE02 edge cutter or a sharp knife.
