The 5L profile from ConCar GardenPower has a width of 16.6 mm and a height of 9.0 mm. This makes it almost identical in size to a classic B-V belt, but with the great advantage that the 5L profile is up to 30% stronger. This means that it can both replace a traditional B-belt and at the same time perform better – especially in machines that work under harsh conditions or with high loads. ConCar GardenPower 5L V-belts are made of durable neoprene rubber and reinforced with Kevlar (aramid fibers), which ensures a very high tensile strength without elastic stretching. The Kevlar also offers the advantage that the belt does not contain metal and therefore cannot rust - a great advantage when used in humid or dusty environments. The outer surface is wrapped with a strong textile material, which protects against wear and shock and at the same time ensures a good grip on the pulley, so that the belt does not slip during use.
An important feature of ConCar GardenPower 5L V-belt is that it is designed to be used with tension rollers. This means that it can easily withstand reverse bending, where the belt must move over a tension roller on the back. Many modern garden machines use tension rollers as part of the belt drive, and therefore it is crucial that the belt is flexible enough to be bent in both directions without damage – which is what ConCar 5L is designed for.
