V-belts

A Dry V-belt in 4L and A-profile is a one-piece and flexible V-shaped transmission belt with high traction, which like other friction belts is driven by friction - in this case the friction that occurs in the wedge. The profile is made of durable neoprene rubber and is coated with a layer of blue cotton fabric, which increases resistance to wear and shock while the fabric reduces slippage between the belt and the pulley. This V-belt profile can withstand a high level of reverse bending, which makes it usable in belt drives, with tension rollers on the back of the belt. A V-belt in 4L and A-profile is also produced with aramid (kevlar) reinforcement that cannot rust. 

We sell a large selection of PIX X'set® Dry V-belts in 4L and A-profile, which is a reinforced V-belt for e.g. lawn mowers, snow shovels and other outdoor equipment, measuring 12.7 millimeters in width and 7.9 millimeters in height. The series of PIX X'set® Dry V-belts in 4L and A-profile is developed for drives with a linear speed of up to 42 m/sec. and for large pulley diameters. The profile is maintenance-free and requires no retensioning after installation.

PIX X'set® V-belts are manufactured in accordance with current ISO & DIN standards and are stocked in standard sizes that can be machined to your specifications and cut to your desired dimensions on request. PIX X'set® Dry V-belts in 4L and A-profile withstand temperatures from -18°C to +80°C. The durable material ensures that the profile is oil and heat resistant, while also being antistatic and rust-proof. The profile is REACH and RoHS compliant and can be used in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC-Atex.
