Classic V-belts in B-profile are manufactured without teeth, while V-belts in BX profile are manufactured with teeth, making them ideal for small pulley diameters, as the teeth ensure a good grip on the pulley. The series of PIX X'set® V-belts in B/BX profile is developed for drives with a linear speed of up to 30 m/sec and is used, for example, in compressors, pu , fans, generators, heat exchangers and industrial drives. PIX X'set® V-belts in B/BX profile are produced in accordance with applicable ISO & DIN standards and are stocked in standard sizes that can be machined to your specifications on request.
A B/BX V-belt is a one-piece, V-shaped transmission belt with high flexibility and traction, which, like other friction belts, is driven by friction – in this case, the friction that occurs in the wedge. V-belts in B/BX profile are produced in durable neoprene rubber with a fiberglass reinforcement, and guarantee an efficient belt drive, as its V-shape ensures the belt's location in the pulley.
