Classic V-belts in Z profile are manufactured without teeth, where V-belts in ZX profile are manufactured with teeth, making them ideal for small pulley diameters, as the teeth ensure a good grip in the pulley. The series of PIX X'set® V-belts in Z/ZX profile is developed for drives with a linear speed of up to 30 m/sec and is used, for example, in generators, fans, compressors, pu , household appliances as well as in cement and steel applications. PIX X'set® V-belts in Z/ZX profile are produced in accordance with applicable ISO & DIN standards and are stocked in standard sizes, which can be machined to your specifications on request.
A Z/ZX V-belt is a one-piece, V-shaped transmission belt with high flexibility and traction, which, like other friction belts, is driven by friction – in this case, the friction that occurs in the wedge. V-belts in Z/ZX profile are produced in durable neoprene rubber with a fiberglass reinforcement and guarantee an efficient belt drive, as its V-shape secures the belt's position in the pulley. Convert to V-belts - Convert length from Li to Ld & La
