PU flat belt by the meter
An open PU flat belt is a friction-driven transmission belt used for power transmission. The series of open PU flat belts is used, among others, in a wide range of lifting applications, such as crane lifting and fitness machines. Flat belts ensure quiet operation, as the surface absorbs shock and vibration, and can be equipped with an extra layer of fabric on the front and/or back of the belt, which improves driving properties and reduces friction. A flat belt is an efficient and reliable belt with minimal maintenance and an associated long service life. It is also compatible with small pulleys, making them suitable for smaller and compact machines. We stock a wide range of flat belts in the types PI, P2, P3 and P4 profile as well as F1, F2, F2.5, F3 and F9 profile, in standard widths from 10-150 millimeters. They are made of black or white, durable thermoplastic polyurethane and are produced with a reinforcement in steel, Kevlar or stainless steel. We also offer waterproof TP (total protection) flat belts with encapsulated reinforcement, manufactured without keyways between the teeth, which makes them suitable for use in wet areas such as car washes, as they cannot rust. An open PU flat belt can be assembled into an endless flat belt by welding the flat belt together. You should expect about 50% less tensile strength in a welded belt compared to a solid belt. The flat belt can be welded with finger joints. We are ready to help with technical advice, as well as dimensioning and calculating your flat belt solution, so you are sure to receive exactly the right solution.
