Poly-V belt PJ 1346 - ConCar PolyRib ® - 2.34 mm ribbed belt

Poly-V belt PJ 1346 - ConCar PolyRib ® is a ribbed belt in PJ/J profile for belt drives, where a compact and flexible drive belt must transmit power via several longitudinal ribs. The PJ profile has a rib spacing of 2.34mm, and this variant has an external length of 1346mm.

ConCar PolyRib ® ribbed belts in PJ profile are made of rubber with fiberglass reinforcement. The design is suitable for compact belt drives, where low installation height, even load distribution and quiet operation are relevant properties. The standard widths are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 ribs, and the series can be manufactured with up to 52 ribs.

Construction and function

The PolyRib belt combines a flat belt construction with multiple longitudinal ribs. The ribs work in corresponding grooves in the pulley and distribute the load across the width of the belt. This provides a stable contact surface, low vibration and allows for compact drive systems with small pulley diameters.

The rubber construction with fiberglass reinforcement gives the belt strength and dimensional stability during operation. The belt does not require lubrication, and the flexible construction makes it suitable for installations where the belt must work around smaller diameters or in more compact belt guides.
