Double V-belts PU
We offer a complete range of twin V-belts for handling and transporting larger items and food products, which are manufactured with a wide surface and a large surface area on which the items can be transported. Twin V-belts are standard, manufactured with an integrated wedge on the underside, which ensures that the V-belt does not run sideways and out of its groove.
Double V-belts are made of durable polyurethane ( PU ) and are available with or without a reinforcement of polyester, Kevlar, steel or glass fiber. Double V-belts are sold in open meters and can be assembled into a solid belt on request. In case the belt needs to be welded, we recommend an end splice on non-reinforced profiles and an overlap splice on reinforced profiles. We offer various welding tools for welding double V-belts, try e.g. BEHAbelt 's EErgo paddle welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Multi TC welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Welding kit with storage bag.
The series of double V-belts is used in many different industries, especially the food industry, as they can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +80°C, while being resistant to chemicals and having antistatic properties that prevent them from rusting. Depending on the area of application, the belt can be equipped with a coating of your choice, so that stocked standard types are targeted at more demanding environments, applications and professions. We offer different surface coatings, each developed to solve different tasks in specific industries and applications.

At FEC Consulting we offer round belts for the food industry, packaging machines and conveyors. PU round belts and PU V-belts are often seen in industries with light product transport as most round belts have limited compressive strength due to the construction of the belt.
Today, higher and higher demands are placed on round belts used in the food industry. We offer a large selection of food approvals that cover virtually all types of cleaning, and we always make a point of meeting your expectations for good customer service, so when you shop with us, you come home with the right solution the first time.

1. pruning
To achieve the largest possible contact surface at the joint and the strongest splice, trim the ends of the belt in a straight cut (miter cut). For this, use BEHAbelt 's AS02 angle pliers or a sharp knife.

2. fixation
It is necessary to use clamps such as FZ01 Vario or FZ02/3 to fix the belt before welding it.

3. welding
For welding, e.g. BEHAbelt 's EErgo paddle welding tool , BEHAbelt 's Multi TC welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Welding kit, which melts the ends together via heat. When the material has cooled down, a joint will be formed. Expected cooling time is 5-10 minutes. Please note that a temperature of 290°C is required when welding PU profiles and 240°C when welding TPE profiles.

4. pruning
After the ends of the belt have been fused together and the material has cooled down, remove any bead at the splice by using BEHAbelt SE02 edge cutter or a sharp knife.
