Polyurethane hollow belts
We offer a complete range of extruded polyurethane ( PU ) hollow belts for use in industrial applications and for transferring items - from frozen vegetables to glass or tiles. Hollow round belts are often used in powered roller conveyors or as conveyor belts and, due to their hollowness, can be easily and quickly equipped with a metal joint, which reduces long downtimes and the costs associated with this.
Hollow belts are available with both smooth and rough surfaces, which is an expression of how much friction the belt has. In addition to the different colors, we also offer hollow belts in different hardnesses, in 80°A, 88°A and 92°A. Hollow belts are manufactured with an outer diameter of either: 4.8 mm, 6.3 mm, 8.0 mm, 9.5 mm, 12.5 mm or 15.0 mm.
After using a metal joint, the hollow belt should always be welded together, as this ensures the longest life of the belt. For more advanced and demanding applications, we offer hollow round belts with e.g. food-approved, hydrolysis or heat-resistant properties. Hollow belts are very elastic, which makes them suitable for small pulley diameters. We also offer a large selection of welding tools for joining and welding hollow belts.
