The Megadyne MEGAFLEX T5 PU timing belt 2285 mm with 457 teeth is a strong and durable, endless cast timing belt that ensures precise power transmission and long service life.

It is made of durable polyurethane ( PU ) and reinforced with steel, providing up to twice the tensile strength of a welded timing belt. Perfect for high-speed applications, conveyor systems and heavy-duty machinery.

Reinforcement Types for Increased Durability

Megadyne MEGAFLEX T5 (2285 mm, 457 teeth) comes standard with steel reinforcement, but is also available with the following alternatives:

• Stainless steel reinforcement that protects against corrosion
• Highly flexible reinforcement suitable for compact systems
• High-power reinforcement provides maximum tensile strength for heavy loads
• Kevlar or fiberglass reinforcement that is non-conductive and rust-free
  
  

Customization and purchasing terms

• Minimum width: 100 mm due to the mold - it is not possible to buy smaller, but the 100 mm can be distributed over the desired belt width.
  
• Nylon coating: Can be added to teeth and backside to reduce friction and noise.
  
• Additional coating: Possibility to adjust the friction with extra coating on the back.
