By mechanically attaching the carriers to the timing belt (timing belts with metal teeth), we are able to position the carrier exactly on the timing belt, even with small tolerances, by milling away the existing tooth and replacing it with a metal tooth. As shown in the picture below, it is possible to decide for yourself which material you want to make your carriers from, such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, pom, etc. This makes it very easy to replace damaged profiles without replacing the entire timing belt.

BRECO® ATN system

Breco ATN timing belts are an easy way to mount carriers on a timing belt. The ATN timing belt system offers a multitude of different options. Breco is one of the market's most innovative manufacturers of PU timing belts. One of their products is called ATN and is developed primarily for transport (Conveyor belts). This belt type is made of PU (polyurethane) and a strong steel cord and can be purchased by the meter and welded to endless timing belts or purchased in one piece in special sizes. The removable profiles, which are mounted on the back of the timing belt as the carriers, can be individually replaced with another size that suits the customer's needs.

This is a good alternative to the old-fashioned splice method of welding on individual carriers. This technique offers completely new application possibilities that were previously impossible. Due to the special technique, different types of goods can now be transported on the same conveyor bars by exchanging different carrier profiles. We can splice Brecoflex® ATN timing belts at the factory in Germany and we stock the types: ATN-10, ATN-12.7, ATN10

With Brecoflex ® and ATN timing belt systems, you can mount carriers on the timing belts yourself according to your own wishes and measurements. We can also do this for you. ATN timing belts can be supplied with inserts in brass or stainless steel. Standard AT10 timing belt pulleys also fit ATN10 timing belts. We can supply these timing belt pulleys from our stock. It is also possible to customize these timing belt pulleys with a special bore and groove.
