ConCar V-belt - Profile XPZ 9.7x8 MM

We offer a large selection of XPZ V-belts from the ConCar brand in the standard profile XPZ / AVX 10 with dimensions 9.7 × 8 mm. The XPZ profile is a timing narrow V-belt that has been developed for efficient V-belt drives where high power transmission, high flexibility and long service life are required. ConCar XPZ V-belts are used in many types of machines and systems, including industrial machines, ventilation systems, compressors, pu , garden machines, agricultural machines and other mechanical installations where a compact and reliable transmission belt is required.

XPZ V-belts are a stronger alternative to the classic ZX V-belt. An XPZ V-belt is typically approx. 30% stronger than a regular ZX V-belt, while being able to work with smaller pulley diameters thanks to the timing construction. XPZ and ZX can in many cases run on the same pulley, making XPZ an obvious choice if you want to upgrade an existing belt drive without replacing the pulley. The profile also corresponds to AVX 10, and depending on the manufacturer, corresponding belts may be marked with AVX 10 or 3L.

XPZ V-belts from ConCar are timing, which makes the belt more flexible than a traditional fabric-wrapped SPZ V-belt. The teeth on the inside reduce bending resistance and heat generation, making the belt particularly suitable for small pulleys, high speeds and compact belt drives. The belt itself is made of durable neoprene rubber with polyester reinforcement, which ensures high strength, stable length and long service life.

The power transmission occurs through the friction between the belt flanks and the V-grooves of the pulley. This means that the belt must lie correctly in the pulley so that the side contact is uniform. When installed correctly, the belt must not bottom out in the pulley, as the power is transmitted via the belt flanks. The timing structure does not affect the power transmission, but improves the flexibility of the belt and reduces the load from repeated bending.

The XPZ profile is often used when higher power transmission is desired than with the classic ZX V-belts, while the belt must be able to work on smaller pulleys. With dimensions of 9.7 × 8 mm, the XPZ is an efficient narrow V-belt that combines high load capacity with great flexibility. This makes it an obvious choice for modern machines where space is limited and where maximum performance is desired from a compact belt profile.

If the belt drive is particularly heavily loaded, XPZ V-belts can also be purchased as a reinforced version with up to 50% higher strength. This can be an advantage on machines with high loads, many starts/stops, strong accelerations or continuous operation, where a standard belt is exposed to high loads.

When choosing a new ConCar XPZ V-belt, it is important to check both the profile and the length. Here, it is important to pay special attention to the fact that different V-belt profiles are often specified in different length measurements. Classic ZX V-belts are typically specified in internal length (Li), while XPZ V-belts are usually specified in effective length (Ld/Lw). AVX 10 and 3L V-belts, on the other hand, are often specified in external length (La). Therefore, two belts that fit the same pulley can have different length designations, even though in practice they have almost the same physical length.

If you are changing from a classic ZX V-belt to an XPZ V-belt, you should therefore not only compare the number in the belt designation. A ZX belt, an XPZ belt and an AVX 10 belt can be measured in different ways, and it can lead to incorrect choices if you only compare the length directly. Always compare the existing belt's marking with the stated measurements for Li, Ld/Lw and La, or contact us if you are in doubt which length corresponds to the old belt.

ConCar XPZ V-belts are a good choice for those who want an affordable, strong and flexible V-belt for modern V-belt drives. The timing construction, polyester reinforcement and stable XPZ profile make the belt suitable for many types of machines where high power transmission, small pulleys and long service life are required.

If you are unsure which ConCar XPZ V-belt is right for your machine, we are happy to help. Send us a picture of the existing belt, the belt marking or information about the machine and we will find the correct replacement. We can also advise on alternative lengths and help you find a suitable replacement belt if the original belt is worn, discontinued or can no longer be read.

Convert to V-belts - Convert length from Li to Ld & La

Our online V-belt length converter is an efficient and reliable little tool for finding the desired V-belt length. The tool allows you to convert the length of the V-belt from its inner length (Li) to its effective length (Ld) and outer length (La), so you can easily choose the right size for your machine.

Using our online tool you can enter the inner length and in a few seconds get the effective length (Ld) & outer length (La). All you have to do is select your V-belt profile and enter the inner length of your V-belt.

Once you have entered these parameters, our tool will calculate the effective length (Ld) & external length (La) of the V-belt and show you the correct result. This makes it easy and quick to find the right size V-belt for your machine, so you can get back to work.
