We offer timing belts in SAT10 profile with metric tooth pitch, available in standard widths of 50, 75 and 100 millimeters. The SAT10 profile is characterized by a self-centering and staggered tooth pattern that centers and secures the position of the belt on the pulley (making guide flanges on the pulley redundant). The self-aligning properties of the belt ensure a stable timing belt drive and a high power transmission, and are used especially for linear guidance and in vertical drives. The curved and staggered tooth pattern of the belt also makes the SAT10 timing belt extremely quiet, as vibrations are absorbed in the belt drive.

 

Open timing belts in SAT10 profile are made of durable white thermoplastic polyurethane in 92 ShA, and with a strong reinforcement of steel, Kevlar (aramid) and stainless steel. We also offer HF (high flexibility) reinforcement. The durable thermoplastic material is resistant to oil, grease and petrol and is temperature resistant from -25 degrees to +80 degrees. 

SAT10 timing belts can be advantageously equipped with a nylon coating that is mounted on the teeth or on the back of the timing belt, which improves driving characteristics and reduces noise and friction. An open SAT10 timing belt can be assembled into an endless timing belt to your desired dimensions, which can be done mechanically, or by welding the timing belt together. The timing belt can either be produced with a welded finger joint, or you can buy your own welding kit and weld the timing belt yourself. You can also have the timing belt assembled mechanically with a pin joint, which makes it possible to easily and quickly mount the timing belt directly on the application.
