We stock a large range of open timing belts in XH profile with inch pitch. Open timing belts in XH profile are made of durable thermoplastic polyurethane 92 ShA, and with a strong reinforcement in steel, Kevlar or stainless steel. XH profiles have a tooth pitch of 22.225 millimeters, which is an expression of the metric distance between each tooth. XH profiles are stocked in standard widths of 100, 150, 200, 300, 400 and 600 inches, which corresponds to 25.4, 38.1, 50.8, 76.2, 101.6 and 152.4 millimeters. Other widths can be manufactured on request. 

 

XH-profile timing belts ensure high efficiency and performance as well as high precision, as they are manufactured with a wide trapezoidal tooth profile and a recess between each tooth, which increases the flexibility and traction of the belt. XH-profiles are especially intended for power transmission and heavy transport. Open XH-profiles can be advantageously equipped with a nylon coating on the teeth or on the back of the belt, which reduces friction and noise and improves driving characteristics.

An open XH timing belt can be assembled into an endless timing belt to your desired dimensions, which is either done mechanically or by welding the timing belt together. The timing belt can either be welded with finger joints, or you can buy your own welding kit and weld the timing belt yourself. You can also have the timing belt assembled mechanically with pin joints, which makes it possible to mount the timing belt directly on the application.
