Description

Frequency meter PIX-Digital Tension Meter

Measuring range from 10 to 600 Hz.

A belt tension meter, also called a frequency meter, is a measuring tool that can be used if you want to achieve the correct tension when installing new timing belts on your machines.

It is designed to inspect the tension in the drive belt and timing belt by testing the frequency. The smart PIX-Digital Tension Meter frequency meter is a device used to check the tension in the drive belt by measuring the frequency. This product offers universal applications for machine construction, in both the automotive industry and other technical machines. The PIX Digital Tension Meter can be used for V-belts, ribbed belts (Poly-v belts) and timing belts. It is easy and quick to check whether the pretension is correct.

Operating instructions:

- Plug the microphone into the instrument either directly or via extension cable. Turn the instrument to "ON".
- The symbols "A & M" appear. ("M" is not displayed if the microphone is not connected).
- Place the microphone head right next to pu on your belt drive and make the timing belt vibrate.
- Belt tension measurement begins when a constant frequency is reached. This is indicated by the LED in the corner of the "ON" button. result is displayed in Hz on the LCD display.
- The symbol "A" in the display is replaced by numbers between "1" and "4". The number represents the number of successful attempts. If "E" appears after the number, it means one of the measurements was outside the tolerance range.
- If "1" or "E" is displayed, it is strongly recommended that the measurement be repeated until "A" appears on the display again.
- The measurement shown on the display must be compared with the theoretical (calculated) frequency (Hz). The belt tension should be adjusted depending on the measurement result and repeated until the calculated value is reached.
- The meter reading will be displayed for two minutes, after which the device will automatically turn off. To restart the device, press the "ON" button.
