ConCar V-belt - Profile C - 22x14 MM
We offer a large selection of V-belts in C-profile from the brand ConCar in standard profile 22 x 14 mm. The C-profile is a classic and heavy-duty V-belt profile used in belt drives with higher loads, where stable operation, good wear resistance and efficient power transmission are required. ConCar C-belts are used in many types of machines and systems, including industrial machines, agricultural machines, compressors, pu , ventilation systems, woodworking machines and other mechanical installations where the belt must be able to transmit more power than the smaller V-belt profiles.
One C-V-belt from ConCar is a toothless and wrapped V-belt. This means that the belt has a protective textile surface around the rubber, which protects against wear and provides a stable contact with the V-groove of the pulley. The C-profile is larger than both the Z-, A- and B-profiles and is therefore suitable for heavier belt drives, where a smaller profile does not have sufficient load-bearing capacity. The power transmission occurs through friction between the belt flanks and the V-groove of the pulley, and it is therefore important that the belt fits the pulley profile correctly.
ConCar C-V-belts are made of durable neoprene rubber with polyester reinforcement. The neoprene rubber gives the belt flexibility and good contact with the pulley, while the polyester reinforcement helps the belt to maintain a stable length during operation. The wrapped construction makes the belt robust and suitable for classic V-belt drives where a reliable transmission belt is needed for daily use. The belt is also antistatic and complies with DIN 2215 / ISO 4184, making it suitable for many common industrial applications.
The C-profile is used when there is a need for greater power transmission than with a B-V-belt of 17 x 11 mm, but without necessarily going up to even larger profiles such as D or E. This makes the C-V-belt an obvious choice in machines where the belt drive is more stressed, or where greater demands are made on stability and service life. A ConCar C-V-belt is therefore a good choice for many classic belt drives where a strong, reasonably priced and reliable solution is desired.
When installed correctly, the C-V-belt must be correctly positioned in the pulley so that the force is transferred via the sides of the belt and not via the bottom of the belt. If the belt is positioned too deep or too high in the groove, this can result in poorer contact, increased heat generation, noise or uneven belt movement. It is also important that the pulleys are clean, correctly aligned and free of unnecessary wear, as skewed or worn pulleys can significantly shorten the life of the belt.
When choosing a new ConCar C-V belt, it is important to check both the profile and the length. The length can be specified as inner length (Li), effective length (Ld/Lw) or outer length (La), which is why two belts with almost the same physical length can have different designations. Many classic C-V belts are also marked with inch designations such as C40, C60 or C80Therefore, always compare the marking on the existing belt with the stated dimensions before ordering a new one.
If you are unsure which ConCar C-V-belt is right for your machine, we are happy to help. Send us a picture of the existing belt, the belt marking or information about the machine and we will find the correct replacement. We also advise on alternative lengths and help find a suitable C-V-belt if the original belt is worn, discontinued or can no longer be read.
Convert to V-belts - Convert length from Li to Ld & La
Our online V-belt length converter is an efficient and reliable little tool for finding the desired V-belt length. The tool allows you to convert the length of the V-belt from its inner length (Li) to its effective length (Ld) and outer length (La), so you can easily choose the right size for your machine.
Using our online tool you can enter the inner length and in a few seconds get the effective length (Ld) & outer length (La). All you have to do is select your V-belt profile and enter the inner length of your V-belt.
Once you have entered these parameters, our tool will calculate the effective length (Ld) & external length (La) of the V-belt and show you the correct result. This makes it easy and quick to find the right size V-belt for your machine, so you can get back to work.
