Construction and function

PIX X'tra® is built like a Raw-Edge V-belt. The sides lie directly against the pulley grooves and the serrated underside helps the belt bend around the pulleys. The serrations are on the underside and are used for flexibility while still transmitting power through the sides of the belt.

CX is a timing variant of the C profile. The profile, the dimensions 22 x 14 mm and the lengths Li 1250 mm, Ld 1306 mm and La 1338 mm describe the physical size of the belt.
