Description

When an application cannot be disassembled and a round belt or PU V-belt needs to be replaced, it is important to be able to perform the welding directly on the machine. With our Universal EErgo welding kit – Item: FBWEE004 – you get a complete kit that contains everything you need to weld a round belt or PU V-belt on site, helping to reduce costly downtime and maintenance costs. Correct welding is crucial to the life and performance of the belt, which is why it is essential to use professional equipment that ensures a strong joint.

Universal EErgo welding kit contains:

- 1 pc. EErgo paddle welding tool : Used to heat and melt belt ends so they can be joined together to form a solid joint. Recommended welding temperature is 290°C (range: 285-300°C). The piston and associated tools can also be purchased separately for different types of belts.

- 2 pcs. FZ01 guide clamps: These clamps hold the belt ends during welding and ensure precise joining until the material has cooled. Suitable for standard PU & TPE round belts and for PU & TPE V-belts.

- 1 piece SE02 edge cutter: A specially designed edge cutter to remove excess material and provide a smooth finish after welding.

- 1 pc. AS04 angle scissors: Robust scissors that make it easy to cut belts at an angle with precision.

- 1 pc. FZ02/3 guide clamp: For additional support and stability during the welding process.

- 1 pc. Large storage bag: Practical for storing and transporting welding equipment.

Pruning
The ends of the V-belt are cut at a 90 degree angle using BEHAbelt 's angle pliers AS02.

Step 2. get std loan
The clamps, e.g. FZ01 Vario or FZ02, are mounted on the ends of round belts to ensure correct fixation during welding.

Step 3. welding
The ends are welded together, e.g. using. BEHAbelt 's EErgo paddle welding tool or BEHAbelt 's Multi TC welding tool. TPE profiles are welded at a temperature of 240°C and PU profiles are welded at a temperature of 290°C. Clamps can be removed when the material has cooled down.

Step 4. cooling
After the ends of round belts have been fused together and the material has cooled down, remove any bead at the splice, using BEHAbelt SE02 edge cutter or sharp knife. The expected cooling time is about 5-10 minutes. Shorten any cooling time by placing the belt under cold water.
