PU timing belts are made of polyurethane, which has a strong wear resistance. The different types of cords in the belt ensure different tensile strengths, regardless of the task. Elatech Eagle 8M is made of polyurethane with either steel or kevlar cord. This type of PU timing belt in pitch 5M, 8M, 10M & 14M in open lengths, A PU timing belt can be welded together to an endless timing belt. In addition, we can offer this timing belt as an endless cast megaflex timing belt with full strength in pitch 8M, 10M & 14M in lengths from 1500 to 22500 mm.

Megalinear Megadyne QST8 timing belt in Polyurethane, has a reliable transmission ability. The tooth side can be coated with a layer of nylon (NFT/PAZ). A layer of different coatings can be applied to the back side to solve different friction tasks. We can also mount carriers on the back side to solve different traction tasks.

It is possible to assemble an open PU timing belt with a melting tool to a welded timing belt according to your desired length, however, you will lose at least 50% of the tensile strength as the steel reinforcement is used.
