Open timing belts in AT profile are made of durable thermoplastic polyurethane 92 ShA, and with a strong reinforcement in steel, Kevlar or stainless steel: We also offer reinforcements in HP (high power), HF (high flexibility) or HPF (high power flexible cords).
AT-profile timing belts ensure high efficiency and traction as well as increased precision, as they are manufactured with a wider tooth profile and a stronger reinforcement. AT profiles are especially intended for start/stop applications and are ideal for transport handling. Open AT profiles can be advantageously equipped with a nylon coating on the teeth or on the back of the timing belt, which reduces friction and improves driving characteristics.
An open AT timing belt can be assembled into an endless timing belt to your desired dimensions, which is either done mechanically or by welding the timing belt together. The timing belt can either be welded with finger joints, or you can buy your own welding kit and weld the timing belt yourself. You can also have the timing belt assembled mechanically with pin joints, which makes it possible to mount the timing belt directly on the application.
AT3 profiles are manufactured in standard widths of 10, 20, 25 and 50 millimeters wide. AT5 profiles are manufactured in standard widths of 6, 10, 16, 25, 32, 50, 75 and 100 millimeters wide. AT10 profiles are manufactured in standard widths of 16, 25, 32, 50, 75, 100 and 150 millimeters wide. AT20 profiles are manufactured in standard widths of 25, 32, 50, 75 and 100 millimeters wide.
Both AT3, AT5 , AT10 and AT20 profiles can be manufactured in other widths on request.
