T-profiles

Megadyne Megalinear - Open PU timing belts in T-profile. We stock a large range of open PU timing belts in T-profile. T-profiles are available with metric tooth pitch in T2.5, T5, T10 and T20, which is an expression of the distance between each tooth in millimeters. T-profiles have a trapezoidal tooth profile and are made of durable white thermoplastic polyurethane in 92 ShA, as well as with a strong reinforcement in steel, Kevlar and stainless steel. We also offer reinforcements in HP (high power), HF (high flexibility) or HPF (high power flexible cords). The durable, thermoplastic material is resistant to oil, grease and petrol, and is temperature resistant from -25 degrees to +80 degrees.

 

An open T-belt can be assembled into an endless belt to your desired dimensions, which is either done mechanically or by welding the belt together. The belt can either be welded with finger joints, or you can buy your own welding kit and weld the belt yourself. You can also have the belt assembled mechanically with pin joints, which makes it easy and quick to mount the belt directly on the application.

T-profiles are stocked in standard widths. Other belt widths can be manufactured on request. T2.5 is available in 10, 16 and 20 millimetres width. T5 is available in 6, 10, 16, 25, 32, 50, 32, 50, 75, 100 and 150 millimetres width. T10 is available in 12, 16, 25, 32, 50, 75, 100 and 150 millimetres width. T20 is available in 325, 32, 50, 75, 100 and 150 millimetres width. We also offer T5 and T10 timing belts in extra wide profile, which are manufactured in transparent thermoplastic polyurethane 90 ShA, and with Kevlar reinforcement. Extra wide T5 profiles are available in 250 and 500 millimetre widths, and extra wide T10 profiles are available in 200, 250, 300, 400, 450 and 500 millimetre widths.
