Description
Taper-lock bushing 2517 made of cast iron
Taper-lock bushing 2517, for mounting between shaft and timing belt pulley , which ensures a solid fixation and quick installation of a timing belt pulley and is the most successful shaft fixation on the market today. Timing Belt Pulleys for taper-lock, are available in metric HTD profile in 5M, 8M 14M and in T & AT profiles T5, AT5 , T10 and AT10 as well as in inch pitch in L and H profile. The taper-lock bush are made of steel or cast iron and have a conical shape. Taper-lock bushing 2517 is available in standard shaft diameters from Ø70 to Ø125 mm. Screws are included with delivery.

Splice instructions
Carefully clean the bore and the tapered parts before installing the bushing in the pulley. When installing the taper-lock bushing, tighten the screws so that the bushing is wedged further into the pulley and clamps the shaft. One of the advantages of this technique is that the pulley can be quickly and easily mounted and removed from the shaft while reducing axial alignment errors.
